From arrival on Friday to departure on Sunday, everything is taken care of. Just bring your favourite fibre project and relax in the elegance and comfort of the Hotel de la Chaux-d'Abel listed in the Swiss Heritage Society’s guidebook as one of the Most Beautiful Historic Swiss Hotels.
The Retreat, open to makers of all abilities, makes no demands on you, this is not a workshop. It is an opportunity to spend a weekend with people, who like you, are passionate about their craft. Of course it always happens at these events that we learn from each other. If there is a particular technique you are interested in learning more about please let us know and we'll do our best to help.

08h30 - Stretching class for makers (led by August Schlapfer - Tai Chi practitioner and teacher)
12h30 - Pop up Yarn sale (retreat attendees only)
14h00 - Pop up Yarn sale - Open to public

Mystery prize/swap - each participant is asked to bring a small gift to be randomly selected over dessert

Yvonne Parle
Yvonne is a passionate knitter and textile artist who was inspired by past retreats held in her native Ireland to bring this event to the Swiss Jura where she now lives.
Recently retired from a career in IT Change Management & Communications, knitting and textile art form an ever growing part of her life, allowing her to dedicate more time and energy to her small enterprise, Towser Textile Art.
